The Institute for Radioastronomy is organizing the conference “Aerospace Development in Peru: 10 Years since the Launch of PUCP-Sat-1 and Pocket-PUCP,” scheduled for November 22nd. This event commemorates the tenth anniversary of the launch and placement in orbit of satellites conceived and manufactured at our academic institution.

The conference will feature the participation of prominent entities such as the Peruvian Space Agency – CONIDA, INICTEL-UNI, Universidad Católica San Pablo, and the Jicamarca Radio Observatory, who will share their projects developed in this field.

The main purpose of the conference is to communicate and foster interest in the satellite projects in which INRAS participates. As part of this gathering, there will be a dedicated space for the exhibition of models and projects by participants.

The event will take place in the Multipurpose Room (SUM) of the Faculty of Social Sciences, from 10 am to 1 pm.

We invite those interested to participate and take advantage of this opportunity to closely explore the advancements in satellite development taking place in Peru and at PUCP.
