The Institute for Radio Astronomy (INRAS) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) is an academic unit which has as its main objective the research and promotion of radio astronomy, Astrophysics, Radio science, Space Science and Engineering, as well as promoting multidisciplinary activities in those areas within the university and undertaking engineering projects linked to Space Science and Applications.
In order to comply with its objectives, the institute has the the following activities planned:
Research of the physical, electromagnetic, chemical, geological and biological phenomena related to earthquakes.
Area of research in astronomy and astrophysics, which also involves the construction of radio telescopes, antenna feeds and other implements.
